MOOC Hybrid Training held in Competence Centre of Vukovar-Srijem County – ROSEWOOD4.0 (HORIZON2020)

On 31st of March 2022 ROSEWOOD4.0 South-East Europe Hub organised hybrid Training on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) developed within ROSEWOOD4.0 project for forestry and wood industry value chain stakeholders.

Development and implementation of new, blended learning programs is crucial for these challenging times and presents ROSEWOOD4.0 response to highlighted needs for training and education as key factor in supporting forestry sector towards digital transformation in order to increase sustainability and efficiency through the application of innovative technological solutions.

Experts from Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, Croatian Forests, Croatian Forest Institute, Wood Cluster SLAVONIAN OAK (Croatia); Slovenia Forest Service, Higher Vocational School, University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty, Department for Wood Science and Technology, Farmland and Forest Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, Gozdno gospodarstvo les d.o.o. (Slovenia); University of Thessaly, Department for Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design, Agrifood Industry (Greece);  Centre for Forest and Wood Industry (Germany) and representatives from South-East Europe HUB Competence Centre Ltd (Croatia), Slovenian Forestry Institute (Slovenia) and The Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia (Greece) participated on the workshop.
