STARI JANKOVCI, 27.05.2019. – In the Stari Jankovci municipal council premises, the Election Session of the Wood cluster Slavonian Oak Assembly was held. The Assembly was attended by members of the Wood cluster Slavonian Oak and guests. The Election Session was opened by dr. sc. Josip Faletar, president of the Wood cluster Slavonian Oak.
The attendants were greeted by the Deputy of Vukovar-srijem County Josip Dabro, Member of the Board of Croatian Forests Ante Sabljić, Head of Forest Office Vinkovci of Croatian Forests Damir Dekanić, Dean deputy of the Forestry Faculty, University of Zagreb, doc. dr. sc. Vjekoslav Živković, President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Vukovar County Chamber Vinka Ivanković (on behalf of the president of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Luka Burilović) and host – Mayor of Stari Jankovci Dragan Sudarević.
At the session, members unanimously adopted Work Report for 2018 and Financial Report for 2018, as well as the Financial Plan and Work Plan for 2019. Due to expiration of the elected members mandates for the managing bodies of the Wood cluster Slavonian Oak expired, decisions on the election and appointment were made.
Unanimously decision was made on the election and appointment of the following persons: CEO of Spačva LC dr. sc. Josip Faletar as president, owner of Šiška Ltd and co-owner of Šišarka Ltd and Alpi-aviation Ltd Mijo Ćošković as vice-president, director of the Competence centre Ltd. for research and development dr. sc. Ivan Ambroš as Cluster Manager and Project Assistant at the Competence centre Ltd for research and development Iva Božić as the Secretary.
For Board members, besides the president, vice-president and manager, are elected: the owner of the Dom- parket Ltd. Antonio Marković, Mayor of Stari Jankovci Dragan Sudarević, principal of Woodcraft and Technology School Vinkovci, Josip Jovanovac and Deputy of Vukovar-Srijem County Josip Dabro.
Two new Cluster members were also accepted: Patos Ltd. and Trokut Ltd., so that the number of the Wood cluster Slavonian Oak members, from woodcutting sector, educational and scientific research institutions, cities, municipalities, counties and development agencies, raised to 37.
And with the new Board of Directors, the Wood cluster Slavonian Oak continues to gather stakeholders in the sector of forestry and wood industry for smart and sustainable use of wood raw material, according to the principle that local wood should be available for local use in the direction of products with high level of finalisation and high added value.
