ROSEWOOD – European Network of Regions on Sustainable WOOD Mobilisation will be presented at the conference hall of the Forestry in Otok on May 8, 2018, starting at 10:00.
ROSEWOOD project, whose implementation began in February 2018, was funded under the Horizon 2020, aims to facilitate the transfer of experience and innovative solutions in sustainable forestry, contributing to the sustainable use of wood raw materials in Europe. During the two-year duration of the ROSEWOOD project, partners will first analyse the needs and weaknesses of the sector at the region level and identify the appropriate innovative solutions. The most successful examples will be presented on the ROSEWOOD web site, on workshops and training to be organised at regional centres as well as at the European level to ensure the transfer of examples of good practice.
15 partners from European Union countries participates on the project and will be gathered in four centres (HUBs for Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Europe) among which the Competence centre Ltd. for research and development as Centre for Eastern Europe (East Europe HUB).
