One of the challenges in wood mobilisation are small-scale wood units within long distance from roads. These units are not profitable for harvesting because of high costs and long-distance transportation. The answer to this challenge might lie in wood terminals where wood from multiple small-scale units in the same area would be gathered for intermediate storage. Read more

ROSEWOOD4.0 project harnesses digital solutions and boosts knowledge transfer to connect multiple actors along the forest value chain to reinforce the sustainability of wood mobilisation in Europe.
During May and June, SOUTH – EAST EUROPE Hub, as part of ROSEWOOD4.0 project is organising a series of workshops for the transfer and implementation of existing best practices and innovations. Besides, there is also the opportunity for new ideas / innovations to take part in the workshops.
Do you have an idea, best practice or innovation that can solve one of the weaknesses or needs mentioned in the bottom of the page? Are you a start-up or a company searching for partners to launch a new product or service? Do you have research results and you are seeking partners to industrialise them? Would you like that practitioners assess your idea, best practice or innovation and explore with them the possibility to transfer and implement it in another country? Then, fill in this form and make chance of having your idea featured during an implementation workshop. If your idea or innovation is chosen, you will be requested to present it during the implementation workshop and consequently discuss its implementation with other interested stakeholders. Thereafter, you and your new team make chance of winning acceleration support by the ROSEWOOD4.0 project to launch the idea.
